Advertiser Platform - Transaction Management Updates

Transaction Management has changed! Advertisers can review and manage adjustable Webgains-tracked orders from one central workspace.

Manage transactions and items in one place

The new Transaction Management experience makes it easier to keep order values accurate and up to date. You can confirm or cancel complete transactions, cancel individual items, and adjust item values when only part of an order has changed.

Use the Transaction Management - Confirm, Cancel or Adjust Transactions and Items for full guidance.

Choose the right level of change

Transactions tab

Use this tab when the change affects the entire order. You can confirm or cancel transactions individually through the interface or process multiple transactions using the bulk transaction upload.

Items tab

Use this tab when the change affects only one or more products within an order. You can cancel items or adjust item values using the item report and bulk upload process.

Work at the right scale

  • Small volumes: Select transactions or items directly in the interface and apply the required action.

  • Larger volumes: Download the relevant transaction or item report, populate the action and reason fields, then upload the completed file.

  • Verification: Review Upload History after submitting a bulk file to confirm processing and resolve any errors.

Recommended approach: Complete item-level cancellations or adjustments before confirming the overall transaction. This helps ensure the final order value is accurate.

Important behaviours to know

Transaction-level cancellation affects the whole order. If only one product has been returned or refunded, cancel the item instead.

  • The tool shows only transactions and items that are still editable.

  • Confirmed or cancelled transactions are not available for further changes in Transaction Management, but their details remain available in Reporting.

  • If every item in a transaction is cancelled, the transaction becomes cancelled.

  • Item-level changes update the associated transaction value.
