What are the different Access Levels for Publisher Users?
For publisher account users, Webgains offer two different types of users; 'Administrator' and 'Editor'.
A full permissions breakdown is available in the platform when creating or editing users.
Users can also have different set campaign/site access levels, and so if there is a user who is required to have access to one campaign in an account, but not another, this can be managed accordingly.
Administrator
The first user added to a new publisher account will automatically be given administrator access, as its required to have at least 1 administrator on a publisher account.
Administrator users have full account access, and thus are required to have MFA set up on their user account. This offers additional account protection, and can be managed through an authenticator app.
Editor
Editor level users have access to most aspects of the campaign management, however they are not able to access and manage account finances and payments, nor can they Edit other users.
No Login
There is also a ‘No Login’ option, which restricts all access for a particular user. It will not delete the user, but will stop them from logging into the platform.
If a ‘No login’ user needs to be able to log back into the platform, they should be set to 'Administrator' or 'Editor'.
There can be a maximum of 50 administrator and editor users per account; “No login” users do not count towards the number of permitted active users
