Content Publishers produce content that addresses a specific audience and demographic, which can include websites, blogs forums, and portals. Normally, the content is tailored and targeted to the readers with the same interests. Hence, the Publishers tend to only promote brands and products that would resonate and prompt purchases with their readers.

Due to the nature of this Publisher type and its clearly defined audiences, Content Sites are great for targeting specific consumers that are at the very beginning stage of their purchasing journey. By informing the audience about brands or products, they can act as a powerful tool for driving sales, but they usually require a high CPA increase or tenancy budget. When it comes to smaller, specialist sites, the conversion rate (the number of people that go from the site to make a purchase) is often higher – assuming the advertiser is a good fit for the publisher.
